We are seeking an A Level History Lecturer who is passionate about delivering high-quality education to students. This role requires a candidate who holds an enhanced DBS (with child barred) and EWC registration as an FE Teacher.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and informative history lessons to A Level students.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students’ attendance, grades, and progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and educational conferences.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to improve instructional methods and share best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold an enhanced DBS (with child barred).
- Must have EWC registration as an FE Teacher.
- Proven experience as a History Lecturer or a similar teaching role.
- Strong understanding of the A Level History curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
