A college in Telford is seeking an A Level Religious Studies Lecturer to join their team. The role involves teaching across three days a week, starting in February. This position offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures in A Level Religious Studies.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Stay updated with developments in the subject area and education sector.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- A recognised Teaching Qualification.
- A qualification related to Religious Studies.
- Proven experience in teaching A Level Religious Studies is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
