SJC Partners are delighted to be assisting an excellent business based in Leyland with their need for an Accounts Coordinator on a permanent basis.Role Purpose:  The purpose of the role is to work closely with Commercial and Supply Chain teams reporting into the Commercial Director and proactively manage sales orders through the business and to provide administration support to the introduction of new products and product changes within the business.  Ensuring an excellent standard of service in chasing and processing customer sales orders, handling enquiries, resolving customer complaints, improving customer service, and organising delivery schedules for the customer.  Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal functions to assist with the product development process. Helping to ensure products are developed, approved, set up in a timely manner and all subsequent iterations are successfully managed for first time NPD and EPD  Customer Service Coordinators are at the front line of the business and must maintain and drive the positive image, brand, and reputation of the organisation.  Key Responsibilities:  
  • Taking ownership for order fulfilment for a set of international brand and retailer accounts:
  • Delivering excellent customer service via email phone and in person.
  • Generating new orders through regular account contact (email, phone etc).
  • Promptly processing customer sales orders.
  • Maintenance of sales order file and uploading sales order to the IT System.
  • Pro-actively contacting customers to co-ordinate the delivery of free issue components on time and in full.
  • Advising and updating customers of production schedule and delivery dates per order.
  • Presenting the customer with monthly stock reports to support their inventory control.
  • Obtaining and analysing customer forecasts.
  • Supporting the Commercial team with the coordination, administration and control associated with the introduction of new products (NPD) and changes to existing products (EPD)
  • Support Commercial with the completion of the NPD and EPD product set up forms.
  • Raise new product BOMs (NPD) and make appropriate BOM changes  (EPD) in the IT system.
  • Lead the management of the customer seal sign off process (Pre-Procurement Silver seals).
  • Manage the handover process from NPD to the Quality and Goods-in team. (eg. Packaging standards, specifications, artworks, samples).
  • Manage with suppliers and customers the artwork sign-off process; this includes internal sign off, version control and maintenance of the artwork folders.
  • Coordinate and post out customer samples to support the Commercial team.
  • Support Commercial with the exit plan for the termination of any business (sharing residual stocks – volume, value and run out timings).
  • General administrational NPD tasks as required and prioritised by the Commercial Director.
  • General office tasks as required (answering the phone, greeting visitors, office cleanliness, managing sundry requirements)

Salary : 27000 - 28000
