Client Partner - Public Sector

Sector: Consulting / Workforce Solutions

Location: London (Hybrid - 4 days in-office)

Salary: £85000 - £115,000 base + commission (OTE £150,000+ Yr1) + stock

What’s the Role?

We’re looking for an experienced Client Partner to join an amazing scale-up consulting firm who provide technology & workforce consultancy services to the FTSE100 and Public Sector.

In this role, you will run the Public Sector vertical & candidate must have experience selling to central government.

If you’re passionate about strategic account management, business development, and delivering impactful workforce solutions, we’d love to hear from you.

We are also interested in meeting candidates from other services industries who have deep central government and public sector sales experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and grow key Public Sector client accounts, ensuring long-term success and revenue growth.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by engaging with Public Sector organisations and decision-makers (mainly CTO/CIO/IT Director communities)
  • Work closely with clients to understand their workforce challenges and recommend the best solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing consultative support and ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate internally with delivery teams, ensuring client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and Public Sector hiring challenges to offer valuable insights.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets through a mix of account expansion and new business acquisition.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a client-facing role within a b2b services industry.
  • Strong track record of business development and strategic account management, particularly within the Public Sector & Central Government
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and translate them into successful partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Deep knowledge of Public Sector nuances, procurement processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary : 85000 - 115000
