Job Description :

We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious client in Leeds, who are looking for an ambitious Account Executive to help expand their client base and increase revenue through the management of new business opportunities.

This role focuses on various Employee Benefits sectors such as Group Risk, Business Protection, Private Medical Insurance, Cash Plans, and Employee Assistance Programmes. The successful candidate will be adept at generating new business proposals, negotiating deals, and ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and company policies.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Generate and manage new business proposals, engaging in broking activities to secure new business deals in line with FCA regulations and internal procedures.
  • Strategically plan and execute initiatives for expanding your client portfolio, including the acquisition of new clients, aligned with our corporate growth objectives.
  • Promptly identify and report any deviations from FCA standards or internal procedures to the Compliance Director.
  • Provide support and advice to other account executives on managing and administrating potential client relationships.
  • Actively gather and analyse information on competitor strategies and market activities, sharing insights with relevant internal teams.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance your knowledge and skills in the industry.
  • Perform all duties within ethical and legal boundaries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in business development within the Employee Benefits industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Group Risk and Business Protection sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business proposals and navigate FCA regulatory environments.
  • Strategic planning capabilities with a track record of growing client portfolios.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of handling high-level negotiations and reporting.
  • Strong commitment to ethical practices and continual professional growth.
  • Driver with access to a car
