Your new companyYour new job working as an Account Handler/Broker Back-Up, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. With offices based in the UK, USA and worldwide your new Brokers pride themselves on understanding the importance of being client-focused and are growing in all areas, they have recently been named an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their Contingency team, a permanent position for an Account Handler/Broker Back-Up has arisen.

Your new roleYour new job working as an Account Handler/Broker Back-Up means you will be providing full back-up support to Brokers to assist with the smooth placement of risks for North American and UK Contingency and Event Cancellation business.

Duties will include creating timely and accurate MRC Slips and Endorsements for new and renewal business, supporting Brokers where necessary, managing assigned client accounts, assisting with development opportunities, producing market/client presentations and renewal invitations. You will also put up terms to clients, produce Terrorism and Political Violence Quotes and Endorsements using an in-house facility, review submissions which are sent for the team and agree cover, liaise with Producing Brokers (Retail and Wholesale) and Placing Brokers to ensure all relevant information is gathered to obtain terms. Further duties will also include handling a split of Open market, Line slips and Binders, handling a mix of North American and UK Contingency and related Risk.

What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience as an Account Handler or Broker Back-Up creating MRC slips and Endorsements will contribute to your success in securing this role. OR if you work as an Account handler who wishes to learn the London Market Technical production please apply
