Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for an Account Manager. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.This Account Manager position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role, you will be monitoring and recalculating long-term MRO contracts, setting performance targets, initiating contract amendments, and leading re-negotiations. The Account Manager will drive profitability through new business quotes, upselling opportunities, and ensuring timely revenue collection.
Role Responsibilities will include:
Contract Management:
- Own Customer MRO contracts and serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries internally.
- Recalculate long-term MRO contracts and set performance targets on a regular basis.
- Initiate contract amendments and lead contract re-negotiations where required or possible.
- Resolve all contractual disputes and disagreements promptly and effectively.
Commercial Management:
- Make commercial decisions for MRO events or customer MRO contracts within approved authorisation limits.
- Influence and sell MRO solutions to contracted customers, driving profitability growth.
- Approve customer invoices and ensure all expected revenues are received within business expectation targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Serve as a Customer Ambassador and Satisfaction Manager, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Performance Reporting:
- Create, review, and analyse contractual KPIs, including financial and customer satisfaction performance measures.
- Organize regular MRO event and contract commercial performance reports and meetings.
- Serve as the Contract & Event Performance Reporter, providing detailed insights and recommendations.
Profitability and Continuous Improvement:
- Secure and increase contract profitability, making necessary adjustments to meet financial targets.
Skills and Experience required:
- Proven experience in MRO account management, preferably in the aerospace or aviation industry.
- Strong understanding of MRO contracts, financial performance measures, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to make informed commercial decisions within approved authorisation limits.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in creating and analysing performance reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
- Strong analytic and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A customer-centric mindset.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
