Job Description :

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our sales team and take the lead in growing and developing our Private Sector client base.

The core focus of this role will be to increase sales activity and grow revenues with your book of accounts. This will mean establishing relationships with clients, developing a deep understanding of their challenges, building a detailed knowlede of Six Degrees capabilities, and ultimately ensuring we are best placed to capitalise on any new business opportunities as they arise.

The role will include lead generation, relationship management, negotiation and account management. As an Account Manager you’ll have a high level of autonomy and will be flexible in your approach. You’ll use your strong understanding of strategic account management and associated overarching governance, to drive pipeline generation and revenue, and in turn you’ll be a key contributor to the growth and success of Six Degrees.

You will be selling complex technical solutions to demanding customers. As an Account Manager, you will be the primary commercial and strategic engagement point between Six Degrees and your customer base. The Account Manager builds mutually beneficial relationships with their internal and external stakeholders and builds trust and credibility through every interaction.

You will be responsible for orchestrating an extended virtual team of internal resources to deliver the optimal outcome for your customers. This will include strategic engagements such as quarterly business reviews and technical road mapping sessions. The ability to quickly build long lasting report with your customers is critical, as is the ability to identify top level business challenges and map them back to Six Degrees capabilities.

If you have previously managed multiple accounts preferably in the MSP sector, we'd love to hear from you. We believe it's important that candidates have an understanding of key issues in the sector that are driving spend and significant experience of managing an account base.
