Our clients are a leading entertainment company, providing exciting products to a variety of retailers. They are looking for a motivated and passionate Account/Sales Executive to join their team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. Account/Sales Executive - About the role

  • Sell their fantastic products to various retailers within the industry.
  • Manage and develop relationships with over 100 tier 1, 2 & 3 existing customers, meeting individual sales targets.
  • Proactively engage with customers to place orders, discuss new product launches, industry trends, and marketing opportunities.
  • Deliver a first-class customer experience, maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
  • Grow the customer base by identifying and engaging with potential new customers within the retailer market.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive sales and growth within the assigned customer accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets (circa £4m+ per annum).
  • Identify new sales opportunities in the UK to grow the company’s customer base.
  • Ensure customer account information is accurate and continuously updated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with customers, adapting products and services to meet their specific needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to a defined set of customers, acting as their main point of contact.
  • Proactively contact customers via phone and email to promote new and upcoming product releases.
  • Assist customers with a variety of sales queries and provide tailored solutions.
  • Capture and update customer information in the company’s CRM system.
  • Be a supportive team player, contributing to the overall success of the team.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and deliver tasks quickly and efficiently.

The successful Account/Sales Executive will have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Confident communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing demands.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team player but comfortable working independently.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Resilient and determined, with the ability to bounce back from challenges.
  • Previous experience in a sales role.
  • A driving license is required due to the location of the office.
  • Hybrid working available once settled into the role.

Additional Information:

Contract: 4 - 6 months (Maternity Leave Cover, with the potential to extend or go permanent)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMHybrid Working Available
