Position: Group Accountant

Location: London / Hybrid

Employment Type: 12 month Maternity Contract

About the Role:

As our Group Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and analysis across multiple business units. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across international teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Manage consolidation of group accounts and ensure accuracy of reporting

• Perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic business decisions

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the group

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

• Collaborate with international teams, leveraging strong German language skills

Qualifications:

• CIMA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)

• Fluent in business German (written and spoken) - essential

• Proven experience in a group or corporate accounting role

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
