Job Description :

We are excited to invite talented individuals to become part of our accounting team at Infor. The accounting team is organized into several specialized workstreams, with accountants typically working in two different streams at any one time. Each workstream focuses on specific areas and involves various responsibilities, allowing you to develop expertise and contribute meaningfully to our financial operations. Below are some key responsibilities associated with each workstream:

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Prepayment accounting
  • Calculation and posting of accruals
  • Fixed Asset accounting
  • Lease capitalization accounting
  • Supporting intercompany processing and reconciliations for the team
  • To ensure the integrity of the balance sheet.
  • Month-end reporting to the corporate accounting team in accordance with the published timetable
  • Complete analytical reviews of allocated workstream and document /validate variances
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, and assistance with review where required.
  • Assist statutory accountants/auditors in completing annual filings including responsibility for queries in the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Cross-support other team members and other workstreams to ensure overall achievement of deadlines
  • Work with other finance/non-finance personnel to ensure the accuracy of accruals and reserves for allocated areas.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects across the accounting teams as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Possessing a positive attitude to challenges
  • Being adaptable to change, sometimes at short notice.
  • Ability to interact with a range of colleagues up to and including senior management level
  • The ability to work on one's own initiative and as part of a team.
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Good Interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to hit deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of European foreign language is highly preferred
  • Previous financial accounting experience is preferable, ideally within an SSC accounting environment

Location: Hybrid Role (3 days in our Solihull office per week). Please note free parking on site.
