Accountant - Page Personnel Finance : Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to work with our very exciting client at their very exciting offices (its a secret for now!), based in Northampton. You will be responsible for providing excellent financial and business services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail. You MUST have experience in month end, P&L, accruals and prepayments for this post.

Description

• Provide accurate and timely financial information
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company's financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
• Provide input into department's goal setting process
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

• Proven experience with month end and P&L
• Proven experience in accruals and prepayments
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• High attention to detail
• Confidence and personality to speak to customers and build great relationships
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Be studying towards or already have AAT qualification or other accounting qualification
