Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Wokingham 

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Job Overview:

My client is seeking a talented and ambitious Part Qualified Accountant to join their fast growing organisation. You will be responsible for assisting in financial planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and providing key insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Conduct cost analysis and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Provide financial insights to senior management for business performance and decision-making.
• Assist with financial modelling and ad-hoc projects as required.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations.
• Support in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of management accounting principles.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
