A forward thinking Software Vendor is looking for an Accountant in practice to transition into a Business Analyst within their Tax product team. This is a great opportunity to grow your career within a fast forward company and gain support to become a Business Analyst.

As a Business Analyst you will gather requirements from customers, conduct market and product research in order to understand key improvements. You will then write user stories and technical specifications to support the agile software changes. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive and growing team.

Responsibilities include: Accountant - Business Analyst

• Gather requirements and design technical specifications to produce user stories
• Conduct market research and user research to understand key software improvements
• Work collaboratively within a Product team to support all agile events
• Support colleagues to improve software for customers

Experience Required: Accountant - Business Analyst

• Accountancy or Tax qualification i.e. AAT, ATT, ACA, or ACCA or equivalent
• Experience in an Accountancy Practice - ideally 5 years
• Strong experience and knowledge of Tax i.e. Corporation Tax, VAT, Personal Tax, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand and explain legislation changes in Tax
• Experience and interest in IT / Technology i.e. software upgrade in accountancy practice, business analyst, or similar
