Meraki Talent are engaged on the position of a permanent Accountant role based in Jersey with a salary of up to £53,000 and study support, and other perks + benefits.

The Role

This opportunity will provide excellent variation with it’s access to a range of prestigious clients within the portfolio. Strong financial and technical accounting principles are critical, with the role involved in the below key components:

• Business partnering with stakeholders both internally and externally
• Preparation of financial accounts & statements
• Annual audit preparation including liaising with External Auditors
• Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
• Working closely with transactional finance to ensure a robust month & year-end close
• Periodic and ad-hoc analysis & reporting

Candidate Profile

We are keen to engage candidates that met the below criteria:

• Part qualified Accountant - ACCA/CA
• 2 year practical financial accounting experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient user of Excel
