Our Edgware based client is seeking an experienced Accountant with Import and Export experience.   The role is full time, office based offering a salary of £42,000.Account

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all accounting duties monthly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Manage and complete all import and export documentation daily, maintaining meticulous records and facilitating smooth international transactions.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Conduct regular audits and reconcile financial discrepancies.
• Collaborate with external partners to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Manage all the commercial aspect of the business (Insurance, legal, statutory, IT system etc)

Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification of MAAT, CIMA, or similar.
• Proven experience in accounting and financial management.
• Strong understanding of import and export documentation processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
