Accountant - The Niche Partnership : Job Details

Join a family-owned manufacturing business with ambitious growth plans. With a mission to double their revenue in 2025, this company is searching for an Accountant to play a key role in their journey. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with a collaborative team to maintain financial accuracy, streamline processes, and contribute to exciting transformation projects. This is a role where you’ll be encouraged to take ownership, challenge established ways of working, and develop your commercial finance skills in a supportive environment.Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with the shared service centre, ensuring processes are being met across R2R, O2C and P2P
• Managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable inboxes
• Reviewing invoice queries and aged balances to maintain accurate records
• Preparing weekly payment proposals for management approval
• Leading VAT return submissions and supporting financial audits and month-end close activities
• Assisting the Finance Manager with global transformation projects, making a real difference to the company’s operations

What you will need:

• To be a qualified accountant – ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Accountant / Management Accountant / Financial Accountant / Finance Manager / Senior Management Accountant / Head of Finance
• Familiarity with shared service centre environments
• To be an agile, inquisitive individual with a knack for detail and an organised approach
• Experience with Dynamics 365 and Power BI would be beneficial but not essential
