Accountant - Goodman Masson : Job Details

A luxury leading travel business is looking to hire a part qualified/qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant.

Working closely with the finance manager you will lead a team of two accountants and oversee the accounting operations for the UK legal entities.

Main duties include:

-Prepare and oversee accurate monthly, quarterly, half-year, and annual financial reports in compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and internal standards.

-Manage the monthly closing process, ensuring timely submission and accuracy

- Coordinate internal and external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure adherence to best practices and timely reporting

- Supervise the team in managing AP/AR functions, cash flow, and bank reconciliations, including intercompany.

-Work closely with the Finance Manager to develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts

-Partner with the HR Manager to ensure accurate and efficient payroll management

-Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, increase efficiency, and improve internal controls.

-Mentor and develop team members

You will be a part qualified/qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant with an accounting background. This is an established business which is trading strongly
