Accountant - HK Recruitment : Job Details

We are looking for an Accountant to join our wonderful Global Christian Charity /Organisation. Your main responsibility is to manage all aspects of accounting, budgets and financial reporting. We are looking for someone who is a qualified Accountant and has experience using accounting systems and procedures and who has great leadership and management experience.

Working in the Charitable sector advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Attend staff and team meetings
• Keep confidential affairs of employees

Qualifications / Skillset

• Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW
• Finance experience
• Hands on experience with accounting software
• Leadership skills
• Must live in the UK/ able to fulfil full time office based hours
• Managing own time and team
• Budgetary experience
• Leading the team in prayer and spiritual activities as required
• Excellent written/ financial / numerical and communication skills
