Accountant (NetSuite) - Interim - Mapped Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a truly sustainable and diverse global beauty brand, who are experiencing high growth within the UK and European markets. This is a publicly listed organisation with a group revenue of + $500 million.

With their HQ in the USA the growing UK finance team is now for an accountant to join their team in early Jan 2025 (at the latest) for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract with possibility of extension.

All successful candidates must be actively studying or qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent finance qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Senior Accountant
• Assisting in the month-end process including preparing and posting journals
• Maintain all Balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in the maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
• Assist in the preparation of the VAT Returns, the corporation tax accrual, as well as organising payment for VAT, corporation tax and PSA.
• Reconciling eCommerce, credit card accounts and intercompany accounts
• Carry out any training for new employees for the PO process.
• Support with the external audit preparation process
• Assist with the preparation of the Statutory Accounts

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 Experience within a similar role with UK or US accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite
• Experience within a global consumer (UK/US presence will be advantageous)
• Part/Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA will be essential

This role is based in the office (central London 3 days a week and 2 days at home with an early finish every Friday!)
