Accounts Administrator - Kenny Recruit : Job Details

Kenny Recruit have partnered with a family run business who are within the recycling industry to find an Accounts Administrator on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the account’s office operations. There is a team of 4, the ideal candidate should have a flexible work approach to cover other team members for holidays & sickness. We are looking for an immediate start so we would be conducting virtual interviews with a trial for 3 days. The ideal candidate is someone who has keen attention to detail, someone who is a fast learner and someone who has experience of processing data. You can be at the start of your career, happy with this level of work or returning to work after a break.

Pay: £27,000 - £31,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits

Location: Erith (5 days in the office)

Working hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm

Key Duties

• Bank & balance sheet reconciliations
• Sales & purchase ledger
• VAT reconciliations and submissions
• Communicate effectively with staff and external stakeholders
• Provide administrative support to the team
• Manage office documentation and correspondence
• Utilise IT skills to maintain electronic records and databases
• Assist in organising meetings and events
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
• Handle general accounts office duties efficiently

Experience:

• The ideal candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:
• Proficiency in English language
• Proven experience in an accounts role
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent organisational abilities
• Prior experience in customer service is advantageous
