Accounts Administrator - Reed : Job Details

• Starting Salary: £21,000 - £25,000

No formal accounts qualifications are required, but administrative experience, initiative, proficiency in Excel, and good numeracy and written skills are essential. Upon completing your training, you will become a vital member of our team, responsible for the following daily tasks

• Reconcile approximately 300 accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Liaise with branches around the country to facilitate the booking of documentation.
• Manage timely payments to suppliers to maintain smooth business operations.
• Execute payment runs both in the bank and within our systems.
• Create and maintain new supplier accounts on our systems.
• Update all relevant spreadsheets with the latest data.
• Address and resolve supplier queries promptly.
• Handle a multi-currency purchase ledger with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the accounts team to assist in the efficient running of the department.
• Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

• Some administrative experience is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
