Accounts Administrator

We are seeking a temporary Accounts Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with prior accounts experience, capable of managing a high volume of invoices and possessing strong IT skills. The position involves a variety of administrative tasks including data entry, telephone handling, filing, photocopying, and processing invoices. Looking for someone who is a hard working and happy to assist where required.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Handle incoming calls and manage correspondence.
- Manage filing and photocopying tasks efficiently.
- Process invoices into Sage and perform reconciliations.
- Issue and manage purchase orders.
- Work through an average of 300 invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely handling.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an account's role, with the ability to handle a large volume of invoices.
- Previous construction experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong IT and tech skills; familiarity with Sage and Excel
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
