Accounts Administrator
- Part-time (3 days per week, 9am - 4pm)
- Contract Duration: 6 months fixed-term contract
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Administrator to join a local company near to Uxbridge on a part-time basis. This role is crucial for managing our day-to-day accounting tasks including inputting invoices, conducting bank reconciliations, handling VAT returns, and general administrative duties.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Inputting invoices accurately into our accounting system.
- Performing bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with legal requirements.
- Answering phone calls and handling queries in a professional manner.
- Assisting with other general administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with accounting software, either Sage or Xero.
- Proven experience in handling invoices, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask.
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
