Job Description :
Sheridan Maine have an exclusive opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our well established client in Newbury. This is a permanent position that will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger and variety of other accounting duties. Key tasks of the Accounts Assistant include:
  • Match invoices to purchase order numbers
  • Process expenses and petty cash
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Prepare the payment run (BACS and cheques)
  • Review timesheets and ensure they are correct
  • Post journals and conduct analysis where required
This is an excellent job opportunity that will allow you to take on a range of responsibilities. Our client is seeking a self-starter that is able to work to deadlines and possesses excellent IT skills. You will need sound accounts payable knowledge and some relevant experience of working within a finance department.The company are offering flexible working and have parking on site.
