Accounts Assistant/ Graduate Finance Assistant | Nantwich | £25,000 - £27,000 + study support

The Opportunity

If you are currently going on the journey through AAT, or are a recent finance graduate, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, highly ambitious and acquisitive business based in Nantwich in a role which has arisen as a result of internal progression within the company.

You are joining at a pivotal point in the journey of the business, with plans to double turnover growth within the next 5 years, so there is so much added value project work to become involved in. You’ll enjoy exposure to all aspects of the Financial Accounting function and learn from an inspiring Finance Manager and Senior Management team along the way.

Your remit will include assisting with:

• Supporting the Purchase Ledger/ Sales Ledger function
• Analysing the Sales/ Purchase Ledger
• Banking reconciliations
• Journal entries
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly accounts preparation
• Expenses
• VAT returns
• Fixed asset management
• Processing balance sheet/ income statements according to financial guidelines
• Month end/ year end close assistance
• Ad hoc project tasks/ reporting as required
