We're looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join my client's dynamic team in a creative environment! This is an exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and make a tangible impact on their business operations. Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant role:
- Sage Processing: Manage and process all sales and purchase ledger transactions through Sage.
- Bank Transactions: Handle posting bank transactions and bank reconciliation.
- Stock Control: Transfer data from Linnworks to Sage (no prior Linnworks experience required).
- Transaction Management: Oversee numerous mini transactions for various companies within their group.
- Expense Management: Run expenses for the field sales team and manage credit card reconciliations.
- Currency: You will be working in a multi currency environment but no previous experience is required as full training is given.
Skills required for the Accounts Assistant role:
- Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, particularly in V-lookups and pivot tables.
- Sage experience
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data inputting and reconciliations.
- Adaptability: Ability to work on varied tasks including inter-company accounts and internal management.
- Team Player: Someone who throws themselves into their work, isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, and can keep things running smoothly in the absence of key team members.
- Retail Accounting: Ideal candidates will have a background in retail accounting, especially with third-party sellers like Amazon and eBay.
- Qualifications: AAT level 3 and above would be ideal but not essential
- Discretion: You must be able to handle confidential information in a discreet manner
- Driving: Due to the rural location of their offices, it is essential that you drive and have your own car.
