Accounts Assistant

• Location: Brighton area
• Job Type: Part-time/Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: £27,000 - £31,000

We are working with a growing practice within the Brighton area, who are looking for an accounts assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified and have prior experience working within practice, familiarity with Zero and Iris systems is essential.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conducting thorough bookkeeping for a variety of clients.
• Preparing accurate accounts for review.
• Presenting financial information and reports to clients in a clear and professional manner.
• Utilising Zero and Iris systems to manage financial data.
• VAT Returns

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• AAT qualification or equivalent.
• Experience within an accountancy practice.
• Proficiency in using Zero and Iris accounting software.
• Strong bookkeeping skills and experience in accounts preparation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to clients.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
