Description
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain financial records and enter data into accounting systems.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Bank Reconciliation: Ensure bank statements align with internal records.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with journal entries and financial close processes.
- Expense Reporting: Verify and process employee claims.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports and audits.
- Administrative Support: Handle finance queries and provide general assistance.
Profile
To be successful for the Accounts Assistant position, you must:
- Diploma/degree in accounting or related field.
- 1-2 years in a similar role (entry-level options available).
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software, detail-oriented, strong communication, and time management skills.
