Accounts Assistant
- Annual Salary: £28,000 (pro-rata)

My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team and contribute to the efficient operations of their finance department. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and skilled in managing multiple financial tasks.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reports.
- Process sales orders and manage invoicing to maintain revenue flow.
- Handle incoming and outgoing emails, ensuring timely responses and filing.
- Reconcile factory payments and manage discrepancies effectively.
- Enter bills and financial data into systems, primarily using Xero.
- Conduct weekly credit control activities to ensure timely receivables.
- Execute payment runs to maintain up-to-date vendor payments.
- Undertake any ad-hoc duties as required to support the finance team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial administration or as an Accounts Assistant.
- Proficiency in using financial software, particularly Xero.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for handling internal and external correspondence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
