Accounts Assistant Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist with the preparation of financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable.
- Complete purchase orders and manage payroll functions.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Manage company ledgers and handle client queries.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Verify balances in account books and rectify discrepancies.
Accounts Assistant Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role, ideally within the construction sector.
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with finance software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
