Accounts Assistant - IPS Group : Job Details

Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a large top 10 firm based in Hull.You will have the opportunity to work with clients across a wide range of sectors including retail, media and technology, real estate and construction and energy and natural resources.As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Being involved in client meetings as and when necessary.
• Dealing with corporate tax matters including the preparation of corporation tax returns.
• Bookkeeping services including the preparation of VAT returns.

To be applicable for this Assistant Accountant position, you should:

• Be AAT qualified or recently completed AAT.
• Have knowledge of CCH AP, Alphatax, and CCH Review and Tag would be advantageous.
• Have good working knowledge of Excel, Sage, and Xero.
• Be able to relate well to other staff and work as part of a team.
• Be currently working as an Accountants Assistant in an Accountancy firm.
