Accounts Assistant Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant to join this reputable business based in Wrexham. This role would be ideal for a candidate with all round experience in accounts, bookkeeping and purchase & sales ledger. As the Accounts Assistant you will be reporting into the Management Accountant

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

• Answering purchase/sales ledger queries
• Reconciling supplier statements and payments
• Reconciling bank balances
• Assisting with transactional processing duties (posting and raising invoices, credit control etc.)
• Weekly external payroll payments and journals
• Prepare monthly and annual ledger reconciliations
• Intercompany journals and recharges
• Allocation of expenses and credit cards

Accounts Assistant Experience Required

• Have experience in a similar role
• Be AAT qualified or studying towards
• Sage 50 experience would be desirable
• Experience working in an SME would be desirable
• Have strong interpersonal skills
