Job Description :

Alexander Daniels are working with an established business based in Staffordshire to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis. As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the administration of the Purchase Ledger, Cash Book management and employee expenses.

Daily duties:

  • Cash book maintenance for all group bank accounts.
  • Cash allocation in ERP system.
  • Input into Group cash reporting.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Ledger reviewing, query solving, chasing approvals, and requesting invoices for DD Payments.
  • Processing invoices.
  • Ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and to terms.
  • Statement reconciliations.
  • Responsible for the timely payment of employee expenses.
  • Production of Purchase orders.

Essential requirements:

  • 2 years experience within a similar role.
  • Demonstrate good organisational skills, working both independently and part of a team.
  • Work to meet strict deadlines, with accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills for dealing with suppliers and internal managers.
  • Good understanding of Excel and best business practice.
