Alexander Daniels are working with an established business based in Staffordshire to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis. As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the administration of the Purchase Ledger, Cash Book management and employee expenses.
Daily duties:
- Cash book maintenance for all group bank accounts.
- Cash allocation in ERP system.
- Input into Group cash reporting.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Ledger reviewing, query solving, chasing approvals, and requesting invoices for DD Payments.
- Processing invoices.
- Ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and to terms.
- Statement reconciliations.
- Responsible for the timely payment of employee expenses.
- Production of Purchase orders.
Essential requirements:
- 2 years experience within a similar role.
- Demonstrate good organisational skills, working both independently and part of a team.
- Work to meet strict deadlines, with accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills for dealing with suppliers and internal managers.
- Good understanding of Excel and best business practice.
