Our Client seeks an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The Accounts Assistant would require a strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Duties of the Accounts Assistant include:
- To ensure bank receipts and payments are correctly recorded and reconciled.
- To process payment runs
- Accounts payable
- Statement reconciliation
- Processing accounting records efficiently within the accounting system
- Processing journals of the system
- Matching & filing invoices
- Dealing with 3rd party vendors
- Ad-hoc duties
Requirements of the Accounts Assistant:
- Organised and strong attention to detail
- Has a confident understanding and working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Has a genuine interest in bookkeeping and accounts
- Good Excel skills
- Is a strong communicator and has a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
