We are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to assist the Finance Director based on site on a 12 month maternity cover basis.
Duties to include:
- Process sales and purchase invoices
- Credit control
- Deal with supplier payments and statement reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Process expenses / credit card transactions
- Prepare and post Accounts Payable payments
- Assist Financial Accountant with month-end routines
- Payroll, including RTI on a monthly basis
- Completion of VAT Returns
- Payments by BACS, CHAPS, Cheque, Direct Debit and Standing Orders
- Matching invoices to delivery notes
Skills:
- Experience working for Small businesses
- Systems experience - Word, Excel, Sage
