MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a well-established business in the Felixstowe area. As an Accounts Assistant you will be working on both the Purchase ledger and the Sales Ledger within a small, friendly finance team.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process Purchase Ledger invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records.
- Answering queries both internally and externally
- Bank reconciliations
- Record and allocate payments
- Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Supporting both month and year end processes as and when needed
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Experience within an accountancy role
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work off of your own initiative
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Sage experience is preferable, but not essential
