Accounts Assistant - Woking

• Invoice Preparation & Issuance:
  • Generate accurate and timely invoices and posting of shipments in Business central based on sales orders.
  • Ensure all billing data is correct, including pricing, discounts, taxes, and payment terms.
  • Address any discrepancies in billing or payment terms.
• Reconciliation:
  • Reconcile invoices against sales orders, shipments and inbounds from our warehouse.
  • Investigate discrepancies between billed amounts and payments, resolving issues promptly.
• Customer Communication:
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding billing inquiries, disputes, or payment issues.
  • Resolve customer billing issues professionally and ensure clear communication regarding payment terms and invoice details.
  • Follow up on overdue payments and assist with collections when necessary.
• Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare detailed reports on invoicing.
  • Provide recommendations to improve billing efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Assist in monthly and year-end financial closing processes.
• Compliance and Policies:
  • Adhere to company policies, accounting principles, and legal requirements related to billing and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting for financial audits.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales, customer fulfilment, and logistics teams to ensure smooth billing and collections processes.
• Billing Process Improvement:
  • Continuously assess and improve billing systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Suggest and implement automation tools to enhance the billing process.
