Description
The successful Accounts Assistant will:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices
- Full purchase ledger process including processing invoices, matching, batching and coding invoices and payment runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Full sales ledger process including creating sales invoices, taking payments and cash allocations
- Carry out reconciliations of bank accounts
- Assisting with month end duties
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or a strong background in a similar role
- Strong excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills
