We are seeking an Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for delivering precise and efficient accounting and finance support to our industrial/manufacturing department.

Description

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks such as invoicing, payments and financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and maintain accounts receivable and payable.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide support to the finance team during audits and year-end procedures.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems.
• Liaise with various departments to resolve finance-related issues.
• Participate in ad-hoc finance projects as required.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• AAT Qualification (Level 3 or 4).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
