Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Walsall

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Top of the salary range will be offered to a candidate with experience in end-to-end Payroll and Purchase Ledger.

We are seeking a positive and friendly Accounts Assistant to join our longstanding client, based in Walsall. This role involves a variety of accounting tasks and mainly encompasses managing end-to-end Payroll and managing the Purchase Ledger. The ideal candidate will be looking for a long-term role where they can stay for years to come!

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conduct a weekly payment run in a variety of currencies.
• Manage a monthly and weekly Payroll, collating and reconciling timesheets and completing Payroll calculations.
• Posting payments on to the Purchase and Nominal Ledger.
• Work alongside the Company Accountant to ensure the smooth running of Transactional processes.

Ideally, You Will:

• Have working experience of end-to-end Payroll and Purchase Ledger, in order to hit the ground running in this role!
• Have a keen eye for detail!
• Be a friendly individual, that would like to make a home in this lovely business!
• Be an excellent communicator, as this role will require resolving queries with the team.
