Accounts Assistant - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyHays is working with a charity in Bristol who are looking for a temporary Accounts Assistant initially for 3 months. Pay for the role is £23 per hour + holiday. The organisation is offering hybrid working. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and expense claims.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Assist with budget tracking and financial analysis.
• Assist with fixed asset management, balance sheets, and reconciliations.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance-related role.
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Desirable:

• AAT qualification or working towards a professional accounting qualification.
