Overview:

We are seeking a versatile and dynamic individual to join our team as an Accounts Assistant/PA. This role combines traditional accounting tasks with personal assistant duties, offering a diverse and engaging work environment. The ideal candidate will be involved in data entry, customer interactions, and pricing strategies, particularly within the metals industry.

Responsibilities:

• Data Management: Accurately enter all financial data into Sage software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correct.
• Customer Interaction and Pricing: Handle pricing inquiries and deal directly with customers, providing excellent service and maintaining positive relationships.
• Industry-Specific Pricing: Learn and manage pricing for metals, gaining industry-specific knowledge and skills.
• Front of House Duties: Manage front of house responsibilities, ensuring a welcoming and professional first point of contact.
• Administrative Support: Perform various administrative and PA tasks as required, helping streamline operations and support senior management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounts, data entry, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with accounting software, preferably Sage.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach and eagerness to take on new challenges.
