We are currently working with a growing organisation based in Derby who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their organisation to support the finance manager with monthly management accounts as well as responsibilities for ensuring the ledgers are kept up to date.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a role with growth potential and development opportunities. This role is offering growth into a Management Accountant position in the next 3 years.

Applicants will ideally have experience of working in Purchase Ledger or all-round accounts and be studying towards or looking to study for their AAT qualification.

Duties include:

• Processing Purchase Ledger invoices
• Raising sales invoices
• Chasing outstanding debt
• Dealing with customer queries
• Assisting with the monthly completion of payroll
• Assisting with month end course
• Accruals and prepayments
• Bank reconciliations
