Accounts Clerk
- Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)

- Job Type: Part-time (32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
We are looking for a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our clients team. The role involves managing purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, and other finance-related tasks. This position is ideal for someone with Sage 50 systems experience who is looking for a part-time opportunity in a fully office-based environment.
Day to day of the role:
- Handling purchase ledger activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
- Managing sales ledger, including issuing invoices and following up on payments.
- Overseeing credit control processes to ensure prompt payment and minimise overdue accounts.
- Performing various ad hoc finance tasks as required to support the finance team.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a finance role, particularly with purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control.
- Proficiency in using Sage 50 accounting software.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent numerical skills and a good understanding of financial processes.
