About the role

We're excited to offer two fantastic opportunities to join our dynamic Finance Division as Accounts Control Administrators.

At NFU Mutual, our dedicated Accounts Receivable team plays a key role in supporting both internal and external customers. We handle account payment queries with care, ensuring everything is processed smoothly and in line with regulations. By maintaining strong financial control, we help safeguard our business while delivering excellent service to our customers.

As an Accounts Control Administrator, you'll be working closely with others to review and assist with account payment queries. You'll also follow up on any default customer accounts, making sure that everything is managed in line with our policies and procedures. Your focus will be on providing helpful and timely support while minimising any potential financial risks.

A big part of your day will involve supporting customers over the phone, both from within the company and externally, to ensure their queries are resolved smoothly.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 40% of your hours from home.

About you

You’ll be someone who enjoys communicating with both customers and colleagues and thrive in busy, dynamic environments.

You’ll be experienced in delivering excellent customer service while managing targets and deadlines. Ideally, you’ll have experience in an office setting, and you've worked in a role with significant telephone call handling. Confidence with numbers and the ability to quickly understand data will also be essential for this role.

You’ll also be someone who is well-organised and enjoys following processes, with confidence in managing time, multiple tasks, shows empathy but is also able to make decisions. Flexibility is key, as you'll need to adapt to changing priorities and support your team when needed.

To join our team you’ll have;

  • 5 GCSEs at A - C (or equivalent), including English and Maths
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office package, with intermediate level of Excel skills desirable
