Job Summary: As an Accounts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing a range of financial services, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional accounting solutions. Your responsibilities will include handling day-to-day client requests, supporting business development, and providing leadership to a team of Accounts Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Portfolio Management:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, offering a comprehensive suite of services, including annual accounts, self-assessment tax, corporation tax, VAT, bookkeeping, and other specialized areas of work.

Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and understanding of our services.

Team Oversight and Support:
- Oversee the work of Accounts Assistants, providing necessary support and training to ensure the team's efficiency and effectiveness.

Proactive Client Support:
- Proactively support clients with their accounting and tax planning needs, offering strategic advice to optimize their financial performance.

Timely Solution Delivery:
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of accounting solutions, meeting customer needs and objectives.

Accounts Reporting:
- Produce and prepare regular account updates for clients and management, communicating financial insights and recommendations.

Quality Assurance:
- Review work completed by team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and effectively communicate with clients to ensure understanding of their business's financial performance and obligations.

- Successfully monitor clients' management accounts, explaining any variances and identifying planning opportunities to enhance financial outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
- Strong understanding of financial services, including annual accounts, tax, VAT, and bookkeeping.
