Accounts Manager - Accountability Recruitment : Job Details

Joining a growing company undertaking all aspects of Accounting and some general operations administration. Our client is passionate about their work, looking for someone with a strong knowledge of accounting on Xero, but who is happy to get involved in the administration of other aspects of the business. Duties will include:

• Reporting directly to the Managing Director
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Bank / credit card reconciliations
• Monthly management accounts
• VAT returns
• Assisting with preparation of year end to send to external Accountants
• Getting involved in general business operations, learning how the business runs
• Offering improvements in accounts procedures to ensure the function is streamlined
• Liaising with suppliers, clients and other members of staff and providing support

Previous experience in a sole responsibility accounts role would be highly beneficial, as would experience using Xero.
