Key skills and responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, providing accounting and advisory services including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies and charities
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
• Overseeing the preparation of corporate tax returns and personal tax returns
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance
• Assisting with audits and overseeing compliance work
• Managing client relationships and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs
• Ensuring deadlines are met and clients are satisfied with the services provided

Skills and experience required:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
• Previous experience working in a Senior Accounting role
• Excellent technical knowledge of accounting principles, tax and VAT
• Experience using Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
