Accounts Manager - Qubit Talent Ltd : Job Details

Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong background in both accounting and payroll? We are seeking a meticulous and driven Accounts/Finance person to join our dynamic team and contribute to the smooth financial operations of our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting: Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including reconciliations, journals, and month-end processes. Prepare financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Payroll: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries, tax calculations, and compliance with all statutory requirements (e.g., PAYE, NI, pensions).
• Financial Reporting: Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
• Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to all financial and legal regulations, including tax filings, statutory returns, and internal controls.
• Support: Collaborate with the finance team and provide support to management on various accounting and payroll-related matters.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in accounting and payroll processing, with a strong understanding of financial procedures.
• Knowledge of payroll software and accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
• A proactive and problem-solving attitude, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information with integrity.

Desirable Qualifications:

• AAT / ACCA or equivalent
• Experience with HMRC submissions and pension auto-enrolment.
